Suzanne Van Houten’s career in the professional beauty industry began in London, where she worked as a stylist’s assistant. Today, she is a master stylist and owner of a 1500 square foot full service urban day spa in Northern California. Over the past 25 years she has trained, motivated, and coached numerous cosmetologists, estheticians, and support staff, while transitioning her business of 12 years from rental based income to a thriving commission structure. Suzanne has the skills and knowledge to bring to today’s salon and spa owner the very best practices in building their business.
Suzanne is a believer in continuous education for both personal and business development. She has attended numerous salon academies including Vidal Sasoon London; the Aveda Institute, Minnesota; and most recently the Salon Executive Program at the Anderson School of Management, UCLA. Suzanne is excited about bringing her extensive expertise to a new generation of salons, day spas and medical spa professionals.
